Hi hi. How are you doing today ?

Today we went to the waterfalls and oh boy, it was a hike AND guess what? MORE HILLS!!!!! OH. MY. GOODNESS! I really hate these stinking stupid hills!!! Gimee a minute to calm down. ANYways. When we got to the place we were so out of breath that we had to take a minute to get our breath back.

We paid and then we went to visit the butterflies, there were so many of them! Some had big wings and the part of the wing that you see had these weird owl looking eye on them. We were lucky enough to see what one of the workers thought were 2 butterflies mating!. I also saw a really pretty butterfly who was small with black wings and bright, kind of neon blue really small polkadots all over its wings.

We walked on a little further and finally came to where the waterfalls were! You had two choices; you could go down a ladder or go up a ladder. Grammy chose to go down the ladder to the calm waters. I chose to go up the ladder to a little metal platform with a little other metal platform that was sticking out over the water and on that little platform sticking out of the water you could jump into the water.💦 💧🏊‍♀️ it took me a minute to build up the courage, but then I jumped.

I couldn’t feel anything but the wind rushing by my face. I. WAS. TERRIFIED. I’m a little scared of heights, but I’m most scared of jumping and not feeling anything. There HAS to be something touching me. Not just air, something solid. Then ….. SPLASH 💦

It was terrifying. I did not want to do it again for like probably 20 minutes but then I asked Grammy if I could go do the big waterfall slide. She said that if I wanted to do the big waterslide, I had to master the little jumping platform. I went and had a look at the big water slide and then I realized, it was almost two times higher than the jumping platform. So it took a little bit of courage and I hype myself up a little bit, but I mastered the little jumping platform. Once I realized I could jump off of it I just couldn’t stop. I wanted to do it over and over and over again.

I mastered the jumping platform now it was time for the big waterfall slide. Someone helped teach me how to do it and once I did it one time, I wanted to do it again and I did. I did the big waterfall slide two times;TWO TIMES!! Personally I was very proud, excited and a little bit battered and bruised.

I went back to the space with the jumping platform and I jumped 2 or 3 more times. I think? After that three boys came up to the jumping platform and started jumping in themselves. They did a few backflips.

A man lost one of his flip-flop sandal things. It went down the little waterfall and one of the boys was kind enough to grab it. He threw it back up, and this is a silly part, he missed. It went back into the waterfall, but didn’t fall down this time, and one of the boys came over and tried to grab it, but he also missed and by missing accidentally knocked it back into the waterfall. Luckily I was there, grabbed it and threw it back up, without missing.

I also got a cool little henna tattoo on my hand and asked the man who did the henna tattoo if he could also do a kitty cat. Meow. I miss Chloe. But I still love you too, Oreo. After that, I talked to a little girl and we found out her and her mom were from Maine. Fun fact, they own like five restaurants there! After that, I had my own little adventure thing exploring down the river and finding a “slide”. Then we went back to the butterfly house. Grammy went in the butterfly house gazebo thing. I said I would wait for her and walked up to the front parking area. I’m at the cutest little doggy and I asked and got permission and pet the little bubby.

I asked an employee what this weird butterfly house thing was, and then we went in. It was actually the room where they have the caterpillars, the cocoons, and the very newly hatched butterflies.🦋 she showed me a few different caterpillars, cocoons, and some dead butterflies. They had pinned up on a board so that you could see what the caterpillars and cocoons would turn into! It was so fascinating! Grammy came in and saw all the stuff and then we packed up and headed home.

Bye-bye my kittens see you next time!
